We’re open all day this Monday the 27th for Australia Day and will be closed on Tuesday the 28th.
While we love all things Australian, we love ALL things Australian. We’d prefer to celebrate a date that the country’s First Nations people agree with.

Buy any costume or accessory from our online store here before January 1st, 2020 and we’ll donate 100% of the profit to help wildlife rescue groups responding to the bushfires. These organisations need our help in a time of extraordinary crisis.
So c’mon, be a party animal for a good cause.

Gather your smoking paraphernalia and discard your clothes (in the privacy of our changerooms of course), it’s time to revisit the free love of Woodstock, Zombie style.
Turn on, tune in and drop out with us this Halloween as our annual decoration of the store takes us to a celebration of the disorientating 60’s and the expansion of our minds into the endless SNOGMOS for our 2019 Halloween theme: GRATEFUL UNDEAD
IT IS UPON US! BOOK WEEK 2019.
Parents, we’re ready to spring into action Inspector Gadget-style to find your child the best costume around.
We have put together a selection of Book Week costumes to buy online here. If you live near a major city and order before 1pm we generally get it to you within two business days.
Otherwise hire it! See a selection of what we have here. Hire is the green option so you’ll get that toplofty feeling you can use to assert your superiority over rival parents.
Welcome to a gallery featuring a small selection of the hire costumes we have in-store.
In the backstreets of Surry Hills behind a roller door lurks a strange, almost mythical beast: a costume hire shop in the age of online shopping.
For over ten years Melanie Adam has fancy dressed thousands of customers at Snog the Frog. In 2017 things took a sharp left turn when Mel suddenly became the owner.
Snog the Frog has been a mainstay of costume shopping for making the pre-party a party. We still love the ridiculousness of dressing up. It’s silly and that’s OK.
Man, woman, child and everything in between, we’re here to help you find your ideal costume or even just that perfect accessory to complete your own invention. We also provide full make-up services. Come and play dressups with us.
